The National Online Recruitment Audience Survey (NORAS)
NORAS is the National Online Recruitment Audience Survey. Established in 2002, NORAS provides independent and objective data to easily compare the audiences of different job boards, and choose the job board that best meets your recruitment needs.
Maximising your Investment
All published NORAS data is free. Using NORAS you can target the right online audience, increasing applications from relevant best-fit candidates, while reducing irrelevant and time-wasting applications. NORAS is the route to maximising return on investment and making online recruitment as efficient and effective as possible.
A wealth of information
NORAS accurately profiles the users of the major UK job boards, segmenting the data by more than 40 categories including industry sector, location, seniority, experience, etc.
Over 300,000 candidates have told us about their online behaviour, preferences, their job-seeking methods and success rates. We have built an accurate demographic profile of each user, including key criteria such as age, gender, location, qualifications, and socio-economic status.
For each job board, this user data is then combined with traffic figures to build a highly detailed model and understanding of each job board's audience and make-up.
